Thanks for the pics. Wonder where remained #2 to #4? I realized on Waskel's pics that Paul played an (his?) OFC guitar with "Freddy and the French Fries".

Yeah, seems that production is half through! Love to see that the blue is single-colored. So they look more similiar to the original blue slotheads than to the later blue Adamas models.

I saw those during the tour and I think they're really great guitars! Very nice guitar Moody ... I didn't even realize, at that time, that what you had in your hands was the OFC Adamas.

Mitch, what time did you get back to LI as I noticed that you seem to be the very first to post after coming back from the tour?

Very nice photographs BTW. :)

Somebody reported seeing the three widenecks sitting on a rack waiting for neck to join body. I think they were serials Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra and Greg Nettles. We're getting close. Dave

These OFC slotheads look quite different compared to the photo Alpep had posted not long ago on the board. His photo showed a rather blue-reverse slothead. The ones shown here seem to be blue, no reverse. Am I missing something?

Thanks Mitch & Mike,

Got my mouth watering...can't wait to finish this move and get back to playing more. Moody has to toss us a bone, how's it sound ????? I ordered one of the widenecks, hope it's everything I think it will be.

Tim,
Totally envious from across the sea, looks like another great YSHBT tour. Next year...

I think Al's sample was more blue reversed. I personally like the look of the OFC guitar with a more universal pale blue. Very nice.

Jerome and Tom, welcome back to the old world! They immediately sent me great OFC guitar pics. Thanks to both and congrats to Paul for this wonderful guitar.

This is what Tom has identified as the necks for serials 10, 11 and 12 - apparently the wider necks for Dave, Tim and myself. It's very exciting to see emerging the guitars.

The 3 bowls on the rack are # 8,9 &10. They are all wide neck bowls, the necks on the rack are standard nut width but the wide necks should be ready this week. They'll hopefully be matched up soon. Hold on,they're coming.

The OFC guitars have a burst finish for sure, but it is quite subtle and doesn't show in the pics.

I called the adamas custom shop this morning and I was told that the top was plain blue, no reverse....

Nevertheless it is still beautiful!

Goob, after attending your workshop at the reunion, I'm convinced that you don't need the better sounding of the two. With your ability, you can make anything sound wonderful.
