You Tube says the clip was removed due to full frontal nudity. Huh?

Very nice, Lanaki. Great tune and great job on it. Doesn't exactly go with the six feet of snow outside my window right now but that's probably my problem, eh?

Lanaki - Really, REALLY pretty. Someday I want to learn to play like that. For now, I just strum the crud out of the instrument and sing my guts out. You have inspired me.

mahalo for all the nice comments guys! i am really impressed with the 1537's playability and sound. i am using my marshall as80r amp in this clip, but acoustically the guitar is still primo! edouard (dude) sent me a pm asking for the tab to this song and i explained that it has no tab as it is an original composition that i wrote and i don't write tablature. by the way, i am using the "taro patch" or open G tuning. from bass to treble the strings are: D-G-D-G-B-D

Man, that was great! Let's start a collection to get Lanaki to the OFC party in May. I could listen to that all day.

I'm going to put you in my will for all the guitars I own, as I now see I can't play any of them...

WOW, WOW, WOW ...AWESOME!!!!!! Great job, Lanaki!

Someday when I get to be all the way growed up, I want to play like that! :)

That 1537 sure sounds wonderful! Your talent certainly deserves/ demands that kind of quality instrument. Glad for you...enjoy!!!

Dave

PS, how about a few more vids on the tube?

Jim,

I'm having similar thoughts. Lanaki, it looks like you have the 1537 set up to your liking. Even though the fidelity of You Tube isn't great, and my cheap computer speakers can't do it justice, you can hear how that guitar rings out and sustains. Simply beautiful! I had a 1537 identical to yours. Someday (soon), I'll have another. It is one that should have never gotten away.

Brad

-Thanks for the tip on Amazing Grace...very nice!

That was terrific! Very very good for a liberal (or a conservative for that matter!).

I'm relieved that there was no frontal nudity (but I understand that Whiteboy and Clifford were disappointed).

WOW, that was great! And I THOUGHT I was a guy who knew his way around the fingerboard.

Gotta learn slack key now!
