A friend offered to let me stay on his boat in Lake Union, but must have decided that wouldn't be a good idea since he won't be there until the next week.

Here's a map, the house is a half block off Main and Bellevue Way (Old Bellevue on the map). All the hotels shown here are literally a couple minutes walk. Downtown Seattle is just 15 minutes as well, so the options are endless if you're good with driving. Here's a link to the general area from HOTELS.COM Everything above The Woodmark Hotel is pretty much walkable, though Coast Hotel is on the other side of the freeway.

Mark in Colorado refused my offer to leave the guitars here and catch a ride in the Porsche. He has his priorities. Come on, Alison, there's still room. You can ride shotgun if you want.

As you are already on an odyssee ... if you swing up North a bit further into the Canadian prairies I'd be happy to take a few days off work and come along too.

I just have the doors open if anyone wants to come by before taking the ride back to wherever, and I'm gonna need to feed this belly, so everyone is welcome to feast prior to departure. Damon, I thought you or Miles had his OFC. If you want to compare my OFC with Mark's original Slothead, I'll throw the OFC in his van, assuming he brings his slothead. There will probably be enough room to bring the #47RI, too, if someone wants to try one of those and I'm still thinking that no one up there has played a 2011 2078ALE yet. I didn't see much sense in hauling up the same model of guitars that other people are bringing or that Damon already has.

I pulled up an ancient archive and saw one of those "what will you never get rid of" topics and saw him comment on how he'd have to pick either the Jim Messina Deacon, or the Wood Topped UKII... Things change

Suppose Woody would install the brass nut on my UK 2 if I brought it? I might just bring my Viper so you can take pictures of it, if you could hide all the flaws. We might end up with a pretty full van.
