Not that I did much work in it, but it was nice to have the shop right next to the guitar room in the basement and the storage room for cases right next to that.

I put together a desk in a basement once that the movers couldn't get out when we moved. I built an exercise machine in our last house that stayed in the basement when we moved. I built two storage sheds to get some of the stuff out of the garage and made some space in the attic for my guitar cases. I can't even get around to changing the nut on the UKII, much less build a boat.

There were reasons at the time but boatbuilding, like anything to do with guitars, doesn't need good ones.

Cav, here's the Wylie Wabbit I was talking about... http://www.wyliedesigngroup.com/wylie_design_group/Composite/Pages/... What a neat minisled. I sailed a ultralight about that size for a long time because it was so handy camp cruising through tight spots. Wylie went on to bigger, even faster things. I like the big tri now for the longer legs and better rough water sailing, it is also nice to be able to stand up in the cabin. Edited by Cavalier 2015-06-26 12:27 AM

I think we're going to have to lift our game at the next Aussie OFC gathering we have. We didn't even play a whole lot of anything much last year. Now, the next questions from inquiring minds: who's who and what were they playing?

He's playing #43 instead of his usual red flame T. Local friends Gary showed up to play some keys, and Abdul sat back on the drums. I'd spilled wine all over my OFC shirt, so I moved on to Peavey... and was playing my Odyssey as well. Buddha's on a Magnum IV Sara only took 2 videos, both when i was playing. There were other folks up playing, I swear. I wish we had some Miles footage. https://youtu.be/nrVig-kXcEg
