# 5, # 5, # 5, # 5, # 5, # 5, # 5, # 5, # 5

I have # 5 reserved...as most of you know, I have # 3 that I love. I don't want to hoard.

If someone on the OFC wants a LOW, LOW, LOW serial number (2nd lowest serial that we know of), contact Al as soon as possible.

If no one has bought it by noon EST (Al's time) tomorrow (9/19/06) - it will come to San Diego.

It is time, wait and you may not be able to find one.

According some very good sources, 4 models have been delivered 2 weeks ago in France.
#33 belongs now to one of my friend but I don't know where are the 3 others...
My quest seems to be hard but I'm still confident...

One thing is sure, #05 will stay in the OFC Family!!

Hurry up guys, this is the last call for an outstanding guitar who will stay in O's history for a long long time... ;)

Jeff...snap it up! Make a nice bookend to the cutaway wide neck.

Al is a nice guy but he isn't giving it away and there is no "rent to buy"

Just wanted to clarify ;)

What Al really meant is that he has some on order and coming in...however at far higher serial number.

As it originally appeared that they were only making 47, are the guitars above 47 getting a different sequence of numbers...such as AT48 (AT for after thought)?

Maybe they'll do like they did with the Ute and come out with the same guitar, but give it a new name and model number...and price it about $1000 higher.

Personally, I'm watching for the OFC guitar which should be based on the 47RI, but be blue and have a p/u.

Either it will come out, or I'll have missed the slothead reissue altogether. We'll see.....

Mark, it might not be the same with a contour bowl, CVT, and "paddle" headstock.

And a very happy OFC'er he is! It is truly a beautiful instrument... so much so that MRS. CrimsonLake approved the transaction without so much as a raised voice or a teardrop! I got the added bonus of getting to meet and spend some time with Al - just an all around nice guy!

I now need to get operated on so I won't get anymore GAS in the foreseeable future.

Congrats Mike! On gaining a nice little number (yar-har-har) and having a very nice Wife!

The only way to treat GAS is to not let it build up.

Congrats and thanks for buying it, so that I can quit thinking about it. Being so close to someone like Al almost made me wish I was in New Jersey---not! I'd get even less done.

Yo ho ho and I think I'll celebrate with a bottle o' rum... yar she is a good wench! No swabbin' the decks for her tonight!

Thanks everyone!

Mark - being so close to Al is probably what put me over the edge... talk about instant gratification!

I might not have so many Ovations if there was someone close who could get me a fix once in awhile. Then again, I might have a worse case of GAS.
