She would be a nice compliment to my '78 1687 ... gulp. My 1978 sounds like nothing I own, and I used to own a 2009 copy of the same model (sans slothead of course) ... it was not the same as my '78, no way. I can only imagine what that one sounds like ... the creme de la creme. The wheels are feverishly spinning ... :o Willa

I have not mentioned any desire to her for another instrument, and I haven't been looking online at pics in front of her. I think she has begun to learn to read my mind, OR there must be some kind of physical and/or psychological behavior she has picked up on when I have GAS. Anyone here have any idea what indicators she could be observing? Can any of you LADIES enlighten me on this????

If you haven't bought a guitar in awhile and aren't watching sports constantly or playing golf, you must be thinking about sex or having an affair. Couple that knowledge with a woman's natural desire to buy stuff, even if it is entirely useless, as long as it's on sale, without any hint of guilt, your wife probably bought something useless and is wondering why haven't. Therefore, if you don't buy a guitar soon, she will figure you are having an affair. So you better buy a guitar, Vince. Affairs and divorces are much more expensive. So are wives, though.

Joined: September 2005 Posts: 3619 Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | Mark, My wife is the frugal one in my family, and I am the the one who goes on the spending sprees (not lately though) Perhaps you ARE right about buying another guitar though (: Too bad the 47 is gone... that's definitely one I'd like to have. I think I would have to add SOME KIND of electronics to it though ... perhaps just one of the fancy in-hole setups the big boys use.
