Zak has also been the full time drummer for Oasis ... they offered him a full membership too but he has not accepted that one either. Zak was definitely playing the drums live during the show. The show appeared to be 100% live, and very very tightly rehearsed and performed ... but perhaps with a hard drive behind Daltry in case he needed the help. They may have dialed that up once or twice, definitely during the "Fooled" scream. What is certain is that they weren't using autotune.

I was VERY concerned about Daltry's voice. I don't think there was ANY lipsyncing going on. The vocals weren't good enough to be lipsynced! As for Pete's jacket, don't you see that it's part of the look? Even having to push it out of the way while playing. He knows it will do that. But it looks cool to see him push it out of the way between strums. My only minor complaint was Pete choosing to do a little fast riff in place of the more memorable recorded one in Baba O' Riley (the one leading into the line "teenage wasteland, oh yeah"). Zak? I thought he was nothing short of phenomenal! I can't believe some didn't think so. Hmm. Oh, well. I miss Keith, but Zak did justice. Mr. O, I agree on not envying the sound engineers, but my God, did they get a nice mix from the TV I heard it from. That snare was crackin', Daltry and Townsend sounded great, and overall I was not disappointed.

(cigarettes, whiskey and bad technique) Roger is 65! As to the lip sync... I'll will agree with the statements about sound system delay. (and maybe a little assistance on the Scream) "I was VERY concerned about Daltry's voice. I don't think there was ANY lipsyncing going on. The vocals weren't good enough to be lipsynced!" Agreed! :D

It gives me hope that I might still have at least some time to continue to play some music. I am not sure but those guy's have got to be pushing the 70 mark by now. Amazing how well a life of Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll seemed to work for some people. Great legacy. Very Cool to see.

Ask and you will receive: Torino Red, Shoreline Gold and Olympic White Fender Eric Clapton Signature Stratocasters, modified with the Fishman VMV Powerbridge piezo transducer saddle-pickup system (controlled by knob located just above cord jack on guitar body) for mock acoustic sound. Stereo output, with piezo to onboard EMG buffer preamp (residing behind second rear body cavity, with tone controls); stereo signal sent to splitter box; with magnetic pickup signal to amp, piezo signal to direct box to board. Fishman Power Bridge Tremolo set for floating vibrato. Sperzel locking tuners.
