Hey, my daily driver is a navy blue 2010 Impala that looks remarkably like an unmarked cop car, plus I have an '88 S-10 Blazer complete with cassette deck and a Ronnie Reagan cartoon postcard over the passenger's visor that my uncle sent Dad around '88....and to cap it off, a 1982 Ford F-150 with very little exhaust, a broken spring shackle, the cab is held up off the frame by pieces of 2x4, holes in the floorboard big enough to throw a cat through, and it's painted bright red...with a brush. No car snobbery here!

they also fit on the back of a 10 speed bike, if your lucky enough to have a rack on the back ....and you position the bungee cords correctly.

I used to ride my 10 speed all over the place carrying a guitar. Right hand on the handle bars, left hand holding the guitar case. Never crashed, either.

We estimated we could gross 2.9 Million to 8.4 million the first year. The we talking about distribution with a major label (one of big 3) they estimate 17.4 million first year gross with a 30 week tour.

So in the end, the musician will get paid $4.83 of the $17.4 million the label takes in.

Those $ figures sound mildly overstated, but then again, I'm wrong on a very routine basis.

Average attendance at large comic con style conventions over the 30 week tour of North America is 54,000 unique visitors each and and they are there for 3 to 4 days. They come to expressly to buy things. Most spend $80 a day on merch. So if we get $2 of $240 is 2.9 million.... That assumes you get 10% con attendees to come into the room watch the show. Those in room buy merch at typical like concert. The two times at small convention we done the show we gotten 15 and 20% to see complete unknowns with no advertising or promotions.

The only holding us back is money to launch the tour. If you know wants invest in something let me know.
We need 500K to launch the tour with a promotional push.

When ran the number I got number the first time I really high numbers. Ones so high that did not think anyone would believe them. Those were around what the label came up with for the low end.

They key to this they already at convention they don't have buy a ticket they walk into the room and watch the show. Then we sell them merch. In world of geek media if they like you they buy everything you have.

There over 900 of the conventions world wide. Big ones here are range from 30,000 to 150,000. In Europe 150,000 to 250,000 and Asia 250,000 to 750,000 attend these events.

That is why trying to get an investor and or endorsements or sponcer instead of going with label.
There still is a way to get involved. If you know anyone

Seems to me that if the LABEL came up with those numbers, they should be HAPPY to spot the $500K??? Why would you need outside investors with that type of revenue projections?

I can't get an Ovation with OHSC in the trunk of either Porsche, so SWMBO assumes that if she goes along on a trip, I won't have room to buy a guitar and bring it back in the passenger seat. After I brought StephenT28's 47RI back from Colorado, she started riding along. I can fit one guitar in a soft case in the back trunk and then a bunch of gear in the front trunk. I've started taking electrics with a mini amp on trips to save space.

I can fit two Ovations in OHSCs behind the front seats in the cabin of my Porsche, along with small bags/accessories.  Still leaves room for a suitcase in the trunk.  There is no substitute.  :-)

THAT is a sweet ride, Dan.

Hey Pez, I know you moved to Nashville, but do you have a job there, or are you just playing in the clubs? Nashville is a tough place to make a living, musically.... LOTS of competition. I saw guys who SHOULD be famous playing for tips.

Bobbo drove her before I added the stroker!

Now with 571 rwhp and 560 rwtq…bulletproof!

Totally unnecessary.
