I am presentaly waiting to hear from the proofers, which should be anytime now. Based on what they say, I will make any necessary revisions and off it goes to print.

With this week's orders added in, I estimate that I can now pay for the printing, which leaves packing and shipping costs yet to cover. (The hidden costs in there are the Paypal fees, which can be reasonalby impressive with this many orders.) I try to price things so as to break as close to even as possible because I want people to be able to afford these. Based on the last couple of years, we usually move about 100 calendars. So this year, I have ordered 110. The betting man in me says we'll make it, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

This is Saturday.

If all goes as planned, I should pick up the calendars on Tuesday and with luck, have them shipped by Wednesday night. (Cross your fingers AND your toes....)

If you want them by Christmas, try to order before the 15th.

In the meantime, thanks to all who have helped make this possible. I hope you all like what you see.

Hey, where in Japan are you? I just spent almost two week in Yamanashi area (Kofu) visiting my daughter, son-in-law and new grand baby girl (born Thanksgiving Day!). Really enjoyed the time there, but also tired of sleeping on the floor on futons - ready to get this old body back into my own bed.

Sorry - way off topic for this thread - also can't wait to see the calendars! And I should have time to mail one to a friend for Christmas - thanks again, Patch!

A whole bunch went into the mail today, including all international orders. (Man can you get stuck at a post office forever at this time of year or what?!)

Just a few more boxes to pack and send tomorrow.

Much like last year, if you ordered fewer than four copies, it was cheaper to ship them individually, and I'll never understand how the USPS figures out its pricing....

I hope everyone likes 2016. As always, I've thought of about a dozen different things I'd like to add, now that it's too late.

So now that things are almost wrapped up for Christmas and just for fun, feel free to take a look at the last year's calendar gallery.
