I like how it says "Report Inappropriate Content" right below Schroeder's picture. Where did we ever get this image of Brits being stuffy. They have the Royals and then they have the rest of the people.

Hi John.

I know you're probably having WAAAAY too much fun to follow up on this request, but any chance of putting some names to faces on those album photos?

I can recognise Temp, Al, Jason, Cliff, Moody, Jerome, and I think..BrianT?, Slipkid? and Strummin12? (with the hair and reflecting cap?)

I don't know who the rest are.

Okay, new pics added here . I captioned most of them, I'll finish later.

The trebuchet successfully launched 2 Ovation Ultras many times... until there wasn't enough left to tie a rope on. Thanks Jeff for building it and dragging it all the way up here for our idle amusement!

Well, I bet that an American made would have flown higher, straighter and further. But who would dare to try that?

There are a lot of observers that trusted that it will fly straight, hmmmm...what time did the cocktails begin?

Jealously Ya'lls,

Jim

Two ultras _were_ harmed during this event.

(Note the k-bar neck attachment survived!)

Geez, that hurts. Oughta be a vivisection committee formed for this activity. Send the parts to Woody for resurrection, at least!
I will contribute to the cause for shipping the carcass, if needed.

I'm sorry. That guitar just doesn't sound tuned to me. I can't get my ears past the disonance.

I have the same trouble with some moderne classical music, where they piano is played with rotten grapefruit on the strings while a chainsaw chews the legs.....Maybe it would sound better with a Taylor?

But thanks ever so for the same day reports. This is almost like being embedded with the troups! Without the nasty morning-after of having Cliff passed out at the foot of your bed.....

Airborne 3 of 5

Uploading them as fast as this lobby connection will allow, while listening to everybody jam away.

Great fun.

Sorry, seesquare, I think the pieces all vanished to the four winds.

Elliot,
"Here I am scrambling to fix up guitars and send over seas, and you guys are trashing guitars."

I know firsthand, after cringing at a threatened bashing, that the MOB that was sacrificed last year had an extensive radial crack in the neck which rendered it non repairarable. I sure that this year's "throw ins" were either terminal patients or volunteers as well.

PM me your parts list, I may need to clean up some.

I have a sequence of pics showing a guitar being hurled for several hundred feet and Mr K returning with it intact and undamaged! Try that with a Taylor and see what happens!

It's OK, I'll get over it. I do admire the engineering, though. That is one great gizmo! I take nobody brought a banjo? As in, "The best sound a banjo makes......."
