I KNEW I had that wrong! No wonder I get no sympathy when I tell the wife "You know, baby, the best laid plans of ice and gin..."

Thanks, Brad.

On second thought, maybe I should skip the OFC Tour...I can resist anything except temptation.

I just got my time off approved. Time to make final arrangements and get supplies together. This year I don't have to buy film. My Nikon D200 digital camera will be making it's tour debut. :) :D

Hi
I would be interested in the event.
I am very local. (Hartford) so how does someone
who doesn't need a room take part?

I'm having spinal surgery on April 11 and this trip is sort of the first time I'll be able to go anywhere. Maryanne will probably have to do most of the driving, and I'll be a little worse for wear after 8 hours in the car. Someone will probably have to help me up the stairs at the factory, too.

Anyway...it'll be a very nice "coming out".

Is anyone flying to the Open House, and bringing a guitar? I've never taken a guitar on a plane, and I'm not sure if I should. I'd like to take one 'O' along though. Advice?

TrustMe, there'll be PLENTY of guitars being passed around, to try out/play over the couse of two days . . .

If you even the LEAST bit "leery" about risking one of your guitars on a plane, . . don't bother.

I'm bringing one. I'm not leery. Neener neener neener.

Besides, it belongs to Jeff. I'll just have them bungee it to a wing.

I've decided I can't go; too soon after surgery.

I have a request: Last year I had my laptop in the hotel lobby and some of us were posting to this board as we went through the evening. Could someone take pics here and there and post them...almost real time sort-of. It would sure be a cool consolation for the thousands of us who can't attend.

I'll miss being there with you guys. Next year.

John, we'll miss you. I'll have my laptop, and will be posting pics of every strange thing I see.

Recover well, buddy... we'll see you there next year!
