My son (17) will be road tripping with me from NorCal ... I assume no issues with him attending? He plays some pretty mean cowboy chords. ;)

My wife thought about coming, but I let her read a few of the posts and she decided to go hang out at the bus station downtown....figured she would be safer and better entertained.

Go figure??????????????

Stonebobbo, I think 72tour is a young guy, so there won't just be old farts there.

My oldest boy has decided to join us. He'll at least come over in between shopping sprees.

Careful, a Polemarch doesn't always survive the day...i.e., Callimachus at the Battle of Marathon.

That is pretty hilarious... the guys in that boat couldn't find their way out of a burlap sack.

This is the punchline to the riddle; "Whaddya get when you cross Mutiny On The Bounty and The Donner Party?"

Mark, I'll make you a deal - you stop back by long enough for me to play your Ute, and I'll send you home with some goodies!

Which reminds me, is anyone else bringing a Ute, other slothead, or original Adamas?

No promises, Andrew, but I'll give it a shot if Mom's birthday party ends early. I just spent a week in Portland traffic and I'm not sure that I'll have much time to go back and forth.
Good thing Jeff W. isn't coming. He tries to take a cheap shot about our navigationally-challenged boat party and posts it on the wrong thread. He'd never be able to find his way across the country, much less to gh1's house.

I was thinking of bringing my Josh White ... anyone interested in seeing/playing one? Was also thinking about the 1651 Lennon Reissue, but am open. I can fit a total of three in the car. Check the list in the footer below ... I am open to suggestions.

The Lennon might be cool, and I'd never pass up the chance to play a classic like the JW. I think that 1537's, vipers, and legends should be covered pretty well.

The Lennon is a great player and classy looking. If you bring the JW, I won't feel compelled to try to bring the Folklore. My wife liked the T shirt so much she just asked what kind of food should "we" bring. We might have an extra.
She just told me she wasn't planning on attending. She was just planning her shopping in Boise.
Waskel has the 1537 and sort of promised to bring it. Haven't heard from him since I gave it to him on Thursday. He should also bring a 1624 and his Adamas, I assume. We would like to see a Viper.

I'll try to remember to bring a digicam to have pics to post after.

I've got both the 1271 and EA68 Vipers, my 1881 A2, 1718 Elite to bring for sure. I'm also bringing along the Tacoma Roadking I just traded for.

I could bring my 1624 also, and I'll possibly have an Ibanez AF85 archtop by then, as well as a Marshall amp and a Digitech GNX4 that I'm hoping someone can show me how to use. :D

To the fella with the shy, singing wife a couple pages back. My shy, occassional percussionist wife will be attending and/or leading hunting parties to fabric shops. It should be safe, I'm guessing, for anyone who doens't require ironclad itineraries.

Will there be a bass on hand for backup musicians like me or should I bring my noname beater?

Hehehe...
Yes, I'll bring the 1537. Or at least a picture of her proving she's ok and a note explaining where to leave the money.
She's got her new strings on. And the rattle was a pick in her innards.

I was planning to bring the 1581 Adamas II, the 1759 CL12, and the 1271 Viper (recently aquired from Uncle Stevie's Colorado Guitar Emporium and Celestial Manifestation Observation Station).
Probably bring the MicroCube and my Marshall AS50R acoustic amp. If I can fit the 1624 in as well I'll bring it, but that might not leave room for the 1537...

We couldn't afford to fly him in for this one. :) Waskel is not allowed to shoot video.. so no OFC A/V Club this time.
So does that mean-What happens in Portland stays in Portland? ;)

Not according to how things are progressing on the swap meet thread in the sell/trade forum. But I hear it is a very 'rainbow friendly' neighbourhood, so who knows what goes on there?
