One thing about it is it's brewed to "American tastes" so you can imagine it tastes different. I haven't had a Molson Export or a Labatt Classic since I moved from southern Ontario 7 years ago. Need help with my shopping list. I am going to buy Barley Sandwiches for the Saturday gathering this afternoon (now there's a logical impossibility! ) and don't want to waste the experience by bringing brown eggs you've already sampled. EG: Are our local national/regional brands like Canadian , Kokanee , and O\'Keefes Extra Old Stock? available to you already? These, coming from 'bigger' brewerys are more conservative in their flavour palate but I'll get a couple of the more adventurous flavours for those of us so inclined. One thing to be wary of is US Customs who limit the amount of Canadian suds you bring into the US. You may have to pay duty and taxes on anything over about 24 bottles...and possibly 12.

My wife is already concerned that this is just another excuse for me to buy guitars. If she had any idea how much I've drooled over the pictures of Miles' collection.

I will also bring the printed edition of "Slipkid's Cheat Sheets". Classic 3 chord playalongs from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's!

But really, she loves it! ....................................... Is this just an 'O' version of a Tupperware party where we get to model all the guitars and imagine how good they'd make us feel about ourselves, then break the bank?

We were only going to be there for a couple of hours, but not sure that I want to bring the young fellow unless it is cleared iwth the group. I can drop them at the Mall for a couple hours if it is not acceptable. Let me know....Jeff

Or, maybe Good Brother Michael could arbitrarily burn off a few sets? Figuring I will be arriving about 1:30, and have to depart about 6:30. Gotta be back home on Sunday.

Brought four guitars and a mando. Had our niece with us, so didn't have room for an amp. Is that going to be a problem for anyone?

With this financial hole I still haven't been able to plug, and gettig screwed over on my relisting by yet ANOTHER wonderful ebay-trauling scam artist...it's probably best for my stability (aka marriage) to not push it this weekend, much as I'd love the R&R with the NW junkies support group... You guys have a great time, and thanks again gh1 and dvd for all the work. Sorry to miss you. :(

Will anybody have a bass amp ... thought I might bring the Viper bass (the Bassman might be a little big to bring along). Of course, a decent bassist would also be nice. :) Here's what I'm planning on toting: Josh White, 6751 Lennon, 6759 12 string, EA68 Viper, Anderson Valley Boont Amber Ale, Lagunitas IPA. My son is likely to bring a wooden box, probably just to get a rise out of us. Anybody want me to bring a Hamer or two? My electric amps are both pretty big so I doubt I can bring either of them. Let me know if there is anything else that's a "must bring". Looks like there will already be a 1537, 1271 Viper, and Deacon 12 in attendance.

Got the W597, 2080 and 1537 in the trunk, but with the grandson coming back, didn't have room for an amp either (nor the Carvin DC400). I can manage to play a bit of bass (used to be my primary instrument...the way I play 6 string, you probably stay on the bass)
