That's really a very very nice guitar. Congrats Jeff, i could imagine how happy you are :)
i always dreamed of someting like that but SSB.
Beg your pardon, i don't fully understand what you mean with: "top- suspended ring mount" vs a regular top guitar. May you give me some explanations ?
Thanks a lot.

There is something strange with the ubb code which will not allow me to "name" the url.
The problem is in the address. Either the 'mac' or the 'iweb' is unacceptable. :D

Actually, it's the '%' signs. I think UBB sees it as HTML, which isn't enabled on this board. Wonder why it worked before?

Thanks folks, I wish you all could hear it. It sounds amazing.

Wabbit, thanks for the clue, I have no idea why it worked before and what might be different now that it won't. Oy. I bet you tried too, thanks.

Jeff - I've always wanted to get my hands on a W597 - any chance you can you compare that with your new one?

It's been years since I played or heard w597, but if memory serves me correctly (and your taking your chances here), The w597 wasn't so bassy and warm. It had more jangle without the complex overtones this one has.

Now that might be complete bullshit (Shut Up, Stephen) but it's what I remember. Some one out there owns both a Ute and 597 or has played both recently enough to be more acurate... Though this guitar sounds warmer than the Ute.

If I remember all the tops sitting on carts at the tour correctly - The W597 is an LX with a fibre top. All the responsiveness, just add the qualities that separate the wood tops from the fibre ones.

Extremely playable.

This is a beautiful guitar and is very very close to what I would order if I was having a custom Adamas built. I have to think that the mid depth bowl with a 12 fret Adamas is a match made in heaven. I've always thought that the deep bowl on the Ute gives it too much depth.

WOW Jeff, that's an amazing guitar. Nice going. 12 fret wideneck acoustic only - good choice, my man. Can't wait to see/hear it.

Good thing you got it without electronics. You do tend to drool when you're playing.

Jeff, just did some playing around and it's the apostrophe that's messing up your URL. I can't find a way around it with this UBB software.

Amazing guitar, by the way. Congrats!

The unacceptable characters (in this case the apostrophe and the space) are replaced with the hex equivalent - apostrophe = %27, space = %20.
If I remember, your album used to just be called "opics". Try naming an album without these characters.

I could rename, but not today. This guitar has seriously distracted me from the work I need to do before i leave Sunday. Thanks guys for snooping around the problem with the url.

Jeff\'s Guitars

This will get you to your albums. You only run into trouble with the link when you try to specify which album.
