We had frost on the helicopters this morning.
Jeeze, it'll probably rain tomorrow so everything gets nice and muddy, then get cold again.
Not as cold as it is back in the States but from 140's in the shade to low 30's is rough here.
Different than the desert back in the States (Arizona locales, 29 Palms CA, etc).
I sure wish was able to attend.
Evetually, I'll be able to meet some of you in person, I can't wait!

Just skip the D, we'll figure all that out. The temp just keeps on dropping, gettin' more bitter and cold. Perfect!

Can you play guitar in mittens?

(I can. . . with no discernible difference than playing without them)

Sure wish I could be there. I went back and forth across the border for 60 years with no problem. Now I would need to be digitized to join you. Cold and snappy with the sun shining and the highways are clear and dry this morning. I'll be thinking of you and the guys Brad on Sunday.

Had one request to bring the 30th anniversary Custom Legend (in previous post stated 30th anniversary custom baladeer, my mistake)

I haven't done one of these before. I am looking forward to comparing the Roundholes to the Adamas guitars that will be there. I will be bringing the following to see how they stack up...

OVATION PATRIOT (A/E version)
30th anniversary Custom Balladeer
2009 Collectors (KOA)
40th Anniversary Balladeer

It will be good to listen to other folks play these well too
(as I am usually listening behind the guitar) Looking forward to THE BIG CHILL :D :D

I have...
A very, very, old Balladeer
EliteT with a contour bowl
Al Dimiola 2
Elite mid bowl
Adamas UTE
Breadwinner
VXT

(holy crap... I have SEVEN guitars!!)

Brian is bringing a textured top, deep bowl Adamas and he might bring a Martin D28.

And for those coming, I also have 2 dogs.
They have not met you yet but they already love you and they will be very excited to see you.
By the time you get your coats off they should be settled down.

As has been said before, this can be truly an eye (ear) opener!

Probably, must members/lurkers pick up our gits, for whatever reasons, and really have no idea of the projected sounds.

The gatherings I've attended have always expanded my appreciation of my Ovations; especially when played by others...

BTEW, RS, if this is your first 'O'gathering, pack away your socks...

Socks, Johnny? I am scared now. :0

I am bringing

Pacemaker
Legend 1767
UTE
a couple of guitar stands if I remember...and a camera (no video!)

I will be the one who keeps driving by in a honda civic looking lost. Flag me down as I pass by if you see me.

New strings on the Legend and Ute but did not have the time to re-up the pacemaker.

Well, that was fun.
Bittercold?? You don't know how close.
My downstairs baseboard heat went on the fritz.
Luckily we were upstairs where it was nice I toasty.

There were some very, very nice gits in my living room today.
And some very nice people, too.

Proof again that a bunch of men meeting on the internet does not have to be creepy.

Pics to follow.
