Just be glad your birthday isn't Leap Year Day (like my daughter's is.) You'd have to be 268 to start Social Security. ;)
Excellent, excellent job--I don't envy you the task of selecting what goes in, what doesn't, and then where to put what in which size.
Thanks so much.

No problem, Steve. I'll still be older. I just won't get any gifts.

I'm beginning to wonder if the postal service sent the ones to California via Clipper ship.

I have to laugh.
The PRIOR 2 years I was the one moaning how everyone had received their calendars but me. It was like Colorado had fallen off the map.

This year I was one of the first and I was totally surprised to receive it as quickly as I did.

Bobbo and Beal....good news is that it is worth the wait. Best one yet!

I thought I heard the "Governoator" shut down the Postal service due to lack of money in California. ;)

Beal... check your front door.
Tracking shows delivery 10 minutes ago.

I guess Lorraine will have her Christmas gift afterall.

Nah, they just slapped on a delivery tax and a convenience charge on top of the special federal excise tax and communications surcharge.

It's hard to beleive that orders have arrived in France and the UK before California.

And it's also hard to beleive how many "regulars" have e-mailed me in the last week saying that they completly missed any mention of a calendar and are there any left.
Am I not doing my job promoting this thing? If I have to I'll don the coconuts and grass skirt one more time if it means getting the word out.

Brad, if you had promoted it any more we'd have to come over there and slap you.

It's been a sticky at the top of General Posting for nearly 3 months. I'd say you did the best you could short of sending out daily emails to all the members.

You and Steve do a great job of this EVERY time!
Thank you!

Gee, Brad, the announcment to order them is the second one down on the General Postings page, and it's been promoted quite well--I don't know what more you could have done. (And leave the coconuts alone--if anyone had had a question about the whens and wherefores of the calendar, they could have PMed you about the time we start to think "calendar.")
Although, maybe an "Absolutely the Last Call to Order a Calendar" post in flashing neon capital letters might have gotten the attention of anyone who missed it this year--a consideration for next year?

They say the missed the 3 month long promotion of the calendar yet immediately notice it when people start receiving them.

I think it is more a case of procrastination than poor eyesight.

Besides, we're trying to garner new members here...

There have been three GD (General Discussion) threads regarding the 2010 calendar since Aug 1st. Whatcha ya gotta do?

Do you think they noticed that the year was running out as well?

OK, I went all the way downstairs and got them.
Great job as always guys.

Lots of nice gitters, but I have to say that I still have one favorite. The Floral Italian 335 copy, that guitar is awesome, a true relic from the 60s. Found it in the basement during the clean out. Yes Adamas #35 was the "best" guitar there but the Floral was the "coolest".

Oh and that's not a Elite 5868 (though I had one of those too) it's a 1984 Collectors and I believe that's Patch's porch!
