bobbo can't make it.  Events and other family obligations have conspired in such a way that I just can't get there.  I will be in Seattle later that week and will get together with Damon for a remedial session.

Would love to attend one of these one day. Heading up to Norcal mid June and have commitments in July. Maybe one day it'll move down here.

Portland really ain't along the way from Colorado to Damon's.

I can take the Bus. Maybe the Bolt bus.

And I can plug-in my amp and annoy the neighbors.

Reading around I realize that I probably shouldn't bring my K1111-RI...
Damon sez that here are already too many shiny bowls at his house.
And Woody might bring #1096.

YSBT!!!!

go, so you don't have to beat yourself up about not being there.  Life is full of experiences, you get to choose which ones.

I've never been to a gathering of Ovation people that wasn't an absolutely great time. And I've been to several.

Get there if you can.

Ah and I would agree with that but I've two Factory Tours, one gathering in FL, one in NJ and one in CT under the belt. I would think five counts as several, no?

And I sit corrected, because I was thinking along the same lines....

Slip, maybe we only noticed he was at 2? Perhaps his reputation is undeserved, and we failed to take his invisibility into consideration.

Or... maybe he was incognito and costumed as some kind of Disney character.

Maybe if the other Mark (elginacres) makes it as far as Boise, I'll have to show him the rest of the way. It's at least a couple hours longer to go over to Portland and up, but it's a possibility. My concern is that I'd like to head back pretty early on Sunday, so going back through Portland wouldn't work too well.
I guess I won't bring my K1111.
On the Weaser issue, are you guys saying that Weaser doesn't look like Mickey Mouse? I always figured he'd look more like Goofy.

I think it was in regards to Weaser's Tinkerbelle outfit he once wore, or was it a teapot. Whatever it was, it was frightening to view (yet he seemed quite comfortable in it...)

It's downright frightening when Weaser is in a room containing a candelabra and a grand piano.

So, Al, when's the next Factory Tour? I know, YSBT. Anyone who can make it to Damon's on the 20th should do it. These Ovation Gatherings, or at least the 3 that I've been to, are a lot of fun, even though Weaser wasn't at any of those.

Does this mean that Bobbo is going to take a picture on the red blanket like Marilyn Monroe?
