Bass side only and you can have any color as long as it's black.

After seeing that picture of Al in the pinstriped suit, I think we should be calling him Alphonz the Godfatha.

Mid or deep, one epaulet or two. I looked up Edwardian and Wiki says the suits were single breasted. This gets really confusing, except for the part about a great price for the last of the deep bowl textured top Adamas.

I have been looking around here for a while and haven't really contributed here before. The OFC special deal 1581 came in today and this bad boy is something special. Everything everyone has said and I believe a little bit more! If I can figure out the picture thing I'll put few up.

Thanks Mr. Pep!!

So that is the end of the Kaki King model, too? That's really too bad for many, many reasons…

the information I have is that they will continue to make the Al D, and Melissa (but currently they have them in stock so they really don't need to make any more)
as for kaki I have no idea

Here's a few I snapped over the weekend, not too pretty but you get the idea. This is a very impressive piece of work. Action is a little high so I'll be pulling the shims, other than that, she's a beauty!

Well I won't be posting pictures unless someone comes in with a camera, but I just got it and it's B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! Great sound, nice low action, sounds great plugged in to my Trace Elliot (thanks Prof BB), and believe it or not, this is the first Adamas I've played with the epi and 1/2. I LIKE!

Adamas 1581 and the Trace TA100R: An outstanding combo . . . I did about a dozen weddings with this very rig.

Just got my 1581 (and the gift certificate). WOW.

Not sure how many are left but this is one nice sounding and playing guitar. Outstanding in every regard.

- Deep non contour bowl
- FET 2 knobber
- walnut board
- schaller tuners
- 5 piece gloss finished neck
- 1.5 epaulets
- original cutaway adamas top
- factory setup is absolutely perfect

What's not to like ???

The 1581RI that I sold to Dobro was OUTSTANDING!

I am sure these are every bit as good.

If it came in red I would have already snagged one but since I already have 3 black Adamaii it makes it a bit easier to pass.

As near as I can tell the only difference between the original 2005 RI's and this batch that Alpep has for sale is the semi epi on the treble side.

Oh, and these cost a hell of a lot less !!!
