Kinda wished I coulda been there. With a high of 28°F and the wind chill factor at 15°F, I woulda had one heck of a fretboard vibrato, plus it wouldn't have hurt a bit with numb fingers et al!

With the trop shirts and warm smiles, looks like ya'll had a 'hot' time.

Guitar face.

Slipkids theory #281
The distortion of the face is in direct proportion to the bend of the strings.

Hey! Look Ma! I'm on TV!

Looks like you had a great time. Good way to beat down the winter blues.

Looks like a great time, Brad. I have a goal to someday ride around Lake Michigan on the scenic byways, but this is probably not the best time of year for it.

Prof... I'm sure they can find you a bunk on an icebreaker.
Think "Deadliest Catch" but without all the fish.

I know what you mean Rich.. I had heard the benefit of hosting one of these things is the guitars people leave behind.

Judging by that last pic on the previous page... y'all really rely on your baseboard heat!

U should have seen the shirt/guitar combo when he was playing the Flaming T. I got a bit dizzy watching it. :)

Waskel... I had your tour video playing in the background. Muted, but playing.

I gotta say that I was mighty impressed by the display of fine and varied Ovations put together by 5 guys within about a hours drive each other.
And it's only that far because Algonac is kinda... out there. When you drive for a couple miles with nothin' but marsh on both sides, you're getting close.

There were more ovations between the 5 of us than all the dealers in michigan..

finally got to play a few Adamas and compare them to the round holes.

My wife shot some video just to prove we were actually playing the guitars. I couldn't believe the peer pressure actually got me to sing. Thanks to GWB, I have a hat to match my flaming T

Thanks for posting the vids Bob. Very nice!

You all played very well and I enjoyed it completely. I will jump at the chance to sit in anytime.

Thanks for not putting up my "nnneeeerrvvvvouuus" meldown of YGAF up :)

I have played that stupid song 1000 times at home but I just keep driving further and futher off the cliff as Brad would say.

Thanks for the nice videos and photos, it was just like being there. The cutaway to the kids on the river rink was enjoyed also. Not a mosquito in sight.
Jim.
