That was the nicest thing you've ever said to me Cliff. I'm tearing up. I'll work on the driving part so I can hold my own at the factory tour next year, but I prefer to listen to the real talent.

Congrats mark..

Beautiful guitar.

You've probably aquired the sweetest collection of O's in the shortest time than anyone I can think of.

Enjoy it, play it, just look at it, and smile.

Ernie

Reality check time. When I checked on the new baby before leaving for work this morning, I saw something shiney on the Axe jacket. (I cleaned up the entryway by piling the stuff on the basement floor.) The cat had pissed on it. I hate cats.
Since it's vinyl, it seems to have washed off fine. Good thing I didn't leave the case open.
Ernie, I suspect the collection is due to a compulsive gene I got from my father. His collection of motorhomes has lost him most of his retirement fund. Of course, that's what retirement funds are supposed to be for, but my wife is a bit concerned about where genetics will take me over the next few years.

Cats.
Jeanette's got two of 'em, and I love 'em both . . .

. . . but if EITHER of 'em pulled something like that, they be dangling (by a low E-string) from the back of a crab-boat by morning.

If the AxeJacket doesn't come satisfactorily "clean" for you, lemme know.
I've got one you can have.

I'm sure it will clean up, but if it doesn't, can I trade our cat for one? My daughter brought her dog and cat with her and our cat probably was afraid to come upstairs. I still don't like cats.

Your cat is marking HIS "territory" for the other cat.

I'd hide the guitars away while you've got "houseguests", as this CAN "proliferate" . . .

LemmeKnow about the AxeJacket.

I wonder if that cat was once owned by a former Taylor owner? I'm with Cliff on this one. That cat would be having a rough go of it in my household about now.

Does Al have a cat???
I'm not suggesting that any cat Al might have took a dump in the gig bag, I'm just saying that Mark's cat might have picked up the scent and was marking it's territory.

Opps... forgot to drill the air-holes!!
I used to have the book... 101 Ways To Kill A Cat. One of the cartoons showed an Army guy looking for land mines using a cat tied to the end of a 10 foot pole.
Unfortunatly, it got lost somewhere down the line.

I don't buy the marking the territory theory. Whenever we have a strange dog in the house, the cat hides. He likes the basement, which is a long way from his cat box, so he eventually can't hold it. We've had surprises in several places in the basement before. It looked like he tried to cover it with the axejacket.

I never would have thought that a thread on the OFC guitar could stray into a thread on cat piss, but this group is full of surprises. Like the one on cats using the cases as beds. Sorry I'm responsible for this diversion.

I'm surprised that you're surprised!!! Nothing that happens here surprises me anymore! :)

So to get back to what "Really" interests us: Have you seduced any of the local wildlife up onto the deck with the symphony of heavenly sounds from the OFC? :)

If any wildlife finds it's way on to Mark's deck it would be a road kill 'possum some neighbor flung up there to get him to go back inside to play. :)

Mark, I just re-carpeted the house to the tune of about 4k, then the wife decided to bring home a kitten. We already have a cat (a good one) and a dog (a very good one). Well the other day, she came home for lunch and found a 1 square foot section of that 4K carpet torn up right to the backing. The new cat was caught in the act. Said cat left last night, back to where it came from, and now we are back to normal (?). Moral: remove all known bad cats, now.

That second one reminds me of an Asimov novel for some reason, although I can't tell you which one. Or the cover of "Tattoo You." :D

They look like they should be back on the mothership, and I don't mean the one in CT.
