Not a bad idea to have an extra one but they may be available from the factory later as several of the reissues will use them. So, I will wait. |

Location: SoCal | I'm pretty certain that the factory has these now. And from what I was told at NAMM, the new ones are slightly better sound-wise than the old ones. I plan on putting a new one in my 1537 as the old one is now 22 years old, then keep my old one as a back up. Knowing that new units can be purchased thru Ovation, I don't know why anybody would buy an old one on ebay. |
