'course I always have to counter that with reminding him that I have the "advantage" in that just the BACK of MY head looks like a baboon's ass . . . . :D

I had a guy say to me once "You can tune up out back. By the way, it doesn't flush." This is when you know you ain't a star. Besides which - has nobody ever told you you look like Glenn Frey?

(and varying locations thereabouts) Bets are being held in a sealed, brand new (handblown glass) bottle of Patron tequila. I'll bring an extra slide (uh, . . . glass)

Ironically, when I lived in NJ(Rockaway and Oak Ridge) I spent more time there, everything from shopping to mountainclimbing to just plain drinkin'. Still a really cool place. Some friends of mine still make it their base of operations for gigging. Alot of musicians down there come from my parts. BTW, while I have your attention, take a look at Ebay #3779270935,US Elite. A little better than the Ultra we discussed earlier, huh? Maybe I'll pursue that one....

Traveled through Scranton on the way up to a rafting trip in Watertown, NY (another "Chapin" town . . hmmmmm .. . . ) Haven't seen the Elite on FleaBay, but I'd definitely consider it over an Ultra . . . I've got an Ultra 12-tring . . . it's a good, decent guitar, but the USA models have just that little extra degree of "playability" that make 'em worth the extra jing . . g'luck.

My father's family founded a little town in the Poconos called Henryville (Dad's middle name was Henry). Cool little place when I was growing up. Not sure what it's turned into now but it used to be a "destination" resort for city folks.

Alcatraz was easier to get out of.After 24 years (29 years together) you'd figure I'm the last person she'd need along for a good time but... I'll try, just don't hold your breath. I used to get into a lot af trouble with tequila when I lived in LA in the 70s , so maybe you'd better reinstall the bets in a case of guinness. I kind of casually mentioned the OFC and a trip today and it went down a lot better than I expected. It seems possible. But june? I don't think so. It may be necessary for you to pose as one of the church-leader-type guys to get me out of here. Unlike the guy in the bar in all the cartoons, my problem is that my wife completely understands me. Definition of mixed feelings:- Your mother-in-law driving off a cliff in your brand new car.
