That is a nice guitar, and rather rare on Ebay. I haven't seen a Viper 3 for sale in years. Looks good, $616 might be a steal.

Location: Phoenix AZ | I agree with Bailey, the V3 is the orphan stepchild of the solidbodies and not seen all that often. Nice to see an O fetching a fair price. Not sure what all the factors are lately, but seems O electrics are creeping up there. In the past few weeks there have been a few Storms going well over 5 bills and BW's and Deacs also getting good money. Dave |

Location: Latitude 39.56819, Longitude -105.080066 | I spent about 3 hours last night playing the majority of my electrics, really taking the time and comparing the sound and playing action on each one of them. The Viper 3 had the best sound and action except for my Warrior Signature and McInturff Zodiac (both $5000+ guitars) and the difference was not $4500!
All of my O's sounded and played exceptionally well. It is amazing how good the necks were on all the SB's that Ovation produced.
