Yeah, they are nice, probably better than a G series.

That sunburst on the back is pretty interesting. You don't see that very often ...

But the first thing that came to mind was ... (in a Lee Iacocca voice) ... "Buy an Audi, Get a Guitar!". ;)

I got a chance to play a bunch of different Blueridge models in Gruhn's. Nicely done, but the bling on them always seemed a bit much to me.

I agree, they do seem to go overboard on the headstock. Kind of like the Larrivee I had with the R rated mermaid. ;)

I was with Jim when he tried a couple of these out and I never noticed how nice the back looked until I saw his pictures.

BTW; Glad to see the palm tree is doing well also. :D

I asked for an Echotone for Christmas, too. I think I better go back to buying my own presents. Much more reliable.

How hard will it be to fit that with a bigsby? Just kinda seems necessary on a hollow body to me.

I like them better without the Bigsby.
I may have to do the Ja'dega as a hold over while I'm waiting on that tank of gas.

Say what? I meant to add one to the Echotone. Aren't they $100 for the kit?

Glad you like it, Captain. But you should learn to use your own photos. :p

Say Bobbo, I can do Perfidia, chords or leads, whichever part you don't want to play!

Thanks. If "Perfidia" means perfect, it's not. The dings and scratches don't show up in this photo. But it's all original. More Mosrite photos.

Pricey, yes. But I deserve it. :) That's also why the FD14 is up for sale.

Wow, Jack, that's awesome! I guess you'll still have that in June for Southern Style III. I usually make fun of people who bring non-O's, but I'd make an exception for that dream machine.

If I ever take better pix, I'll use them. But I like yours. I did give you props on the ning site, sorta.

It's the short term memory that gives us problems, Iffy.
Your Santa is much nicer than my Santa, Jack.
FlySig, tell us about the Echotone. Korean? You like it? It wasn't from the Las Vegas GC, was it? That was the one on my list.

Mark, that's a Newport Pro , not the Echotone. It is smaller than a 335 style.

I was looking at the Artist and the Newport, and found several for a very reasonable price on the HamerFanClub. The Artist is a solid body with the top half chambered. The Newport is a more traditional semi-hollow construction but, like the Artist, a lot smaller than the 335.

There was a seriously beautiful Artist with a flame maple top that caught my eye, but someone from here beat me to the punch. He has pics up over on the NING side.

My girls looked at the 3 natural wood topped acoustics hanging in the music room and decided that "we" don't want another natural top, and "we" have too many black or red guitars, so "we" decided to go for the orange sparkle Newport.

It is on the way, hopefully here for this weekend. I'll post pics and a review once I've given it a workout.

BTW, Kaki plays several Newports. Hamer really oughta make her an endorsee. Now I'm going to sound just like her, right?
