I made another post on here in regards to a guitar I have and had no clue as to what it was or when it was made or even if it was worth anything. It is an Ultra GS model # 012292 (which I have learned in reading here that the numbers don't mean much?) and it looks exactly like the one you have listed on your site as number 67: 068 Utlra GS in teal. The only thing I can say about mine is that the color on mine looks much more vibrant and metallic flake than the photo of yours...could just be the picture and not quality of your guitar. Can you tell me a bit about this style of guitar and what you think of it? I also need some help getting the thing back into tip-top shape. The five switch selector is shorting out, sometimes you get the sound through to the amp, other times it doesn't on every setting. The tremelo bar has gone missing, I would like to replace it with one that belongs on this guitar. At the very top of the neck there is a bar with three screws in it, somehow before I got it, those screws were removed and are missing. I assume that is to help keep the guitar in tune, which this thing needs to be retuned after playing 4-5 songs. There is also a weird tone coming from the number 3 string that makes it sound like a flat every time you play it. I replaced the strings many times and it sounds the same. I thought if the neck were bent, all the strings would sound off, but all the other ones are perfect. The only thing I can think of is that the tuning key for that string may be a little bent? Any suggestions or other info you can give me will help a lot. Since this was my sisters baby for so long before she gave it to me (and I don't think I can truly appreciate it), I am thinking of spending some money on it to repair it and get it really nice to give back to her one day. Thanks a ton, ~Ed

I think it is very underrated. It certainly looks better than most of the strat knock-offs and with DiMarzio pickups, Shaller machines and Kahler bridge, assembled in the USA, you really can't go wrong. -- The five switch selector is shorting out, sometimes you get the sound through to the amp, other times it doesn't on every setting. I'd have to see it. It was a non-standard switch and not all that sturdy. I have not found a replacement, but I found a way to modify a standard 5-position to fit without making any mods to the guitar. It could however, just be dirty, or one of the tangs bent, or one of screws that hold it together just loose, or one of the solder leads fallen off. In other words, it may be repairable. -- The tremelo bar has gone missing I may have one and will respond to your email when I get it. If you have a pic of the bridge that would help as there were a few versions. -- At the very top of the neck there is a bar with three screws in it, somehow before I got it, those screws were removed and are missing. I assume that is to help keep the guitar in tune, which this thing needs to be retuned after playing 4-5 songs. Tuning could have more to do with the tension spring adjustment on the bridge. -- There is also a weird tone coming from the number 3 string that makes it sound like a flat every time you play it. Could have a raised fret, but really hard to say without seeing it.
