Location: Tampa, FL | Or is there a hint of smoke and mirrors in this auction? Seems to me the pre-amp shown in the 4th picture is not the same as the OP50 shown in the next view. And for some odd reason the tuners seen in the picture depicting the serial number seem to be chrome. Not to mention what appears to be the wrong wood in the center lamination.
Having stumbled a teeny bit on my first purchase, I'm a little more careful now. In any case, anybody here have an opinion about the "Q" series? A phrase about bears and woods leaps to mind...
What I'm looking for is a real world take on what makes this instrument distinctive relative to other Ovations et. al. There don't seem to be a lot of Ovations hanging in the shops around town so I have to rely on word of mouth so to speak.
Or maybe I should just throw myself to Al's merciful care...
