Hey everyone. I just posted a few pics form the debut gig of my new duo, "Perfect Strangers" in my photo album if you would like to check 'em out. I brought out my Legend LX and Legend 12 string and had nothing but compliments on the guitars. There were several musicians at the show who couldn't believe how good the O's sounded. I think that one guy is going out shopping for one this weekend.

I was a little nervous about this gig because it was a fill in gig and we had 2 days notice to prepare. Fortunately, we went over very well and the owners loved us and want us to come back. I told Kim (my partner) that we should "not rehearse" more often!

I would also like to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving.

Good pics John. You may have mentioned it before, but what do you run your guitars thru in your gigs?

Also, your partner Kim is much better looking than you. Next time, can you just post pics of her with your guitars? Just kidding. It does look like you've lost weight this year.

Nice pics, John. But I'd have to agree. Just show us pictures of Kim from now on...

Thanks guys! I would have to agree, she is better looking, and she sings better too!

"Good pics John. You may have mentioned it before, but what do you run your guitars thru in your gigs?"

I run them through a boss chorus pedal, boss digital reverb (only for a few tunes) and a L.R. Braggs Acoustic D.I. For amplification, I use a Yamaha EMX 3000 powered mixer and JBL EON Cabs.

"It does look like you've lost weight this year."

Actually, I've put on a few from being layed up with a bad back for a good chunk of the summer. The old pics made me look chunky for some reason.

I'll probably put on some more weight today!
