Location: Kirkland, WA | Hello all - first time poster. I am in serch of someone that may know the answer to this question:
I purchased a Celebrity Deluxe this evening at a very reasonable price. I thought I would look up info on it (since the purchase was mostly based on impulse and how it felt in the store). So... I head over to the Ovation website and look up model numbers. To my surprise, the GC157 is not listed. I checked the label inside the body to see if perhaps there was a printing error, but it plainly says GC157. Is this different than the CC157 that is listed, or is this some super-secret model? The store tag says OVATION GC157-RRB CELEB DLX AE RUBY RED.
If anyone has any insight on this, you'll be my BBS buddy for life. Thanks in advance for any replies. |

Guitar Center routinely has major guitar manufacturers run special custom orders for them. Sam Ash does, too; and I think Musicians' Fiend has some MF exclusives from time to time. |

MW, this is my first Ovation. I was one of those day-dreaming kids at the guitar shop window, wishing I could afford a nice Ovation. But that was 20 years ago. I finally decided to get one (plus the fact that I came across one really really cheap). I am not disappointed. I have seen the discussions about owning Korean vs. Connecticut, but I am simply glad to own the guitar. I am sure I will be as happy with my purchase years from now as I am now.
thanks again! |
