Just wanted to give a "shout out" to one my OFC buds up in Connecticut!!!
Some of you may remember Scot McMillan from the last OFC Tour Group Pic.
He's right in the front row (along with Dad (Skip) and Mom (Gail) proudly holding his Ovation Trekker.

A while ago, I came across a box of some VERY "vintage" rock concert t-shirts.
In there, was a Jethro Tull baseball jersey from the '82 "Broadsword" Tour.
Being that I knew that Scot (like myself) played the flute, and (like myself) was a big Tull fan, and that this shirt was probably the "newest" of the batch, was still quite wearable, and would probably fit Scot (it sure as H*LL wasn't gonna fit me . . . . again!), it was perhaps best to pass it on. . . .

After a couple of months of not remembering to mail it up to Scot, thought perhaps that the best option would be to get in the car and hand-deliver it (and get some Autumn "LeafPeeping" done in the process).

Scot and his family live in a REALLY cool Danish-styled home that's SUPER energy-efficient on a gorgeous piece of property. Scot even has plenty of room to practice another of his "passions" . . . . boomerangs!!!
Scot's got this really extensive collection of about 240+ boomerangs in various styles and sizes, including some really high-tech carbon-fibre ones!! After a couple of brief lessons, "Yours Truly" managed to . . (ahem!) . . . get one stuck in a tree . . . . (sorry, Scot).

Scot and I spent some time swapping quitars and sharing techniques (I showed Scot some Travis-picking while playing his Trekker . . Scot taught me a Hendrix riff while playing my SlotHead). Had a great time!

On the way home, Jeanette and I stopped and paid a visit to the Retired Gas Station at the top o' th' Mountain.
Me and the attendant sat on the porch and butchered a Rev. Gary Davis tune while Jeanette chatted with Mrs2. Glad we got to see 'em before the Great Migration . . .

The leaves weren't exactly near "peak" colour, but we had a great day and Scot's got a Tull shirt that's more than TWICE as old as HE is.

Nice Folks, them Connecticutters . .. . . .

(Sorry Mr. Keller, . . . . . if we had more time I'd've looked y'up . . . . . I was thinkin' 'boutcha . . . maybe next time . . . )

Tony, Thanks for the #7 balls, I'll make sure to put them to good use in a couple of weeks. Getting to cold to play here now. When Al ever gets around to ordering the OFC edition the #7 is yours (if you still want it).

Bill,
That's the plan

Remember, keep your head down and hit them down the fairway. ;)
