Working on a redo for an early Viper and possibly a Breadwinner.
Need to know which type of replacement tone/volume knobs are used by Ovation. Is it the course (18 spline) or the Fine (24 spline)?

Also, at Stewart McDonald they have two types of screws to offer – Fender and Gibson style. Do I want to get screwed like a Fender or screwed like a Gibson?

Stewmac screws

Thirdly, I remember some talk over guitar bodies finished in Tung Oil only (Teak, Danish, Tung, etc.). Any opinions or observations?

As I recall the Ovation screws were thinner than either F or G.
Finish is whatever you want.
Pots are 250K for single coils and 500K for HB.
Good Luck!
