I was wondering if there was a way one could look up their serial number to see what day exactly their guitar was completed? I may be asking too much of Ovation but I think it would be nice to see the finish date.

Be happy just to narrow it to a year. You won't get more precise info than that.

Interestingly, Project Viper has '10-27' written in pencil on the bottom of the bridge pup route...I wonder if that's the day it was routed or sprayed. Too bad there's no way to narrow down the year in this case.

Well, now that it's gone horribly off the rails...there is a Reverse Speech site that has some really intriguing things on it. One of their articles is about the RS in Stairway to Heaven.

You can find it here on their site.

I don't endorse it, just present it at something interesting.

Sometimes I'm glad I can't understand the words to songs frontwards, let alone backwards.

"cracking the code........" seems to have been an apt title for this thread.
