methinks i need to replace the jack in my ult gp.get a lot of cutting in and out when i rest her on my knee.i can do the soldering and all that i just wanted to know if this was something common that i could buy for a few bucks at a guit shop or am i looking at something more.thanks y`all! :confused:

try bending the tabs back to make a better connection before you buy a new jack. If you do get a switchcraft and stay away from the generic ones.

The GP was a selfcontained jack if I remember right so it might be easiest to just replace it.
