Totally wierd. it looks like a Celebrity body with some other brand's neck. A photo of the back might clear up the mystery. Or is it an Applause?

but not much more.
In the old days we used to have the lawyers send these type people letters and this didn't happen very often.

I have a "HO" saler that calls me with these every once in a while. I have also seen many ovation copies at the Namm shows. IN fact I witnessed one deal go down in nashville where the buyer even ordered the guitars as "Ovations". It just cheapens the brand IMHO

Yeah, but the real question is: "Are they good canoe paddles?"

Isn't there some way these guys can be nailed for fraud, license infractions or misrepresentation? If I remember correctly when vendors are hocking t-shirts at concerts the cops and the established (use the word losoely) rent-a-cops have authority to check all paperwork and merchandise at random. For example: matching type merchandise against national police stolen items databases. Besides the top of the guitar being bogus the product label is rectangle when all Ovations have oval ones. The pirated version is a piss poor copy of an LX of which I own two. Someone should set up these guys and bust em. Play On!
