I just saw this on ebay and wondered about this since I haven't seen a Legend without a visable 5 piece neck before.
I am no expert, so I ask your opinions.
I have seen Balladeer's that look like this.
Can someone verify this one way or the other?
Thanks |

Location: Scotland | It's definately a USA Legend. Ovation Legends & Custom Legends with finish #5 (black) had the 5-piece necks finished in solid black also, they may still do that. I always thought this was hiding a signature feature of the guitars and never cared for it. To add further confusion these guitars often crop up on ebay with the sellers claiming they have "graphite necks" |

Location: Phoenix AZ | For the last few years, black finished custom legends have come in natural finish neck with only a black face on the headstock. I think this looks much better. Why take a beautiful 5 piece neck and paint it black? |

Should Ovation leave all five-piece necks natural, with a silky satin finish, similar to what is on Cruster's Elite?
