Just back from the best vacation ever. Four nights on a mountainside cabin deck playing my guitar. Just as we were packing to leave I heard someone playing on a nearby cabin deck. From a distance I could see no pickguard and sure enough, he had an Ovation. We never got a chance to play. He had just got there and we were leaving.

We stopped at the "Music Outlet" just north of Pidgeon Forge. Lots of instruments, lots of dusty guitars and rusty strings. They had some very old Ovation inventory and a Balladeer LX and Standard Elite LX. I have played any LX at any store I have been at. I have to say the the set-up on these two were awful.

Just one more pic. This cabin was just awesome.

Hey Man, Just don't fall in the hot tub. Looks like my idea of a vacation. Where was it?

You wouldn't guess from the view but we were just 10 minutes off the strip in Pidgeon Forge, TN. We lucked out and had a thunderstorm come though one evening. What a light show.

Brad-

Looks like you had an awesome view from that 'hanging' cabin. ;) My parents go down to Pigeon Forge every so often (although I don't know what for) so I forwarded my mom that pic of the cabin.

Welcome back! Now, get to work!

Brad, FAN-TAS-TIC view. Makes my fear of heights go nuts just LOOKING at that view of the cabin, though. You couldn't have gotten me anywhere NEAR that part of the cabin hanging over the end of the rock.

I want to see a "Smoky Mountains" travel sticker on that Al DiMeola case at Now and Zen!

Nice Place! It almost looks as if maybe there is no such thing as a building inspector in Pigeon Forge. We had some cabins in Northern Idaho that looked similar.
