I have a digitech RP-10 and an Applause with an under the bridge piezo transducer. I have a Traynor amp(15 inch speaker, enclosed) which I use with keyboards but was wondering if anyone has toyed with using a guitar effects processor to 'tune-in' an acoustic sound perhaps similar to what the 'acoustic ' amps create? I'm just starting to work with editing the existing patches(with RPEdit) and would like to try some setting, probably with the equalizer settings. Someone had suggested pumped up the hi & lo range and sinking the mid-range...
Any other suggestions?

You didn't say whether the pickup in your guitar is stock or after-market. If your Applause has a passive pickup system the biggest improvement you could make is to add a preamp. No matter what processors & effects you may have the output/input impedance mismatch of the piezo pickup is screwing your tone, and no amount of EQ or processing can fix that.
