As to Moody and Cliff having a beer after a good "discussion", it is not uncommon for a pair of talk show hosts to go at it on air and laugh about the exchange after. Interesting how the venom flies, yet they consider themselves friends. Whether Paul Begala & James Carville, Jesse Jackson, or the DNC - most of this is a daily feed by fax or email. Sit out under a palm tree, something cool to drink, and a good, intelligent discussion of facts with someone I respect - no problem. Made some good friends that way. Some of you know who my godmother and 2nd cousin...her husband (deceased) was blacklisted, her biography is "interesting." Don't agree on everything but respect each other.

But do you really want this website the end up being a political hotbed? Let's leave that for other sites. Too many good topics here to discuss. By the way, some of my best friends here and elsewhere are 180 degrees away from me politically. If we discuss politics, we discuss ideas, philosophies, and concepts. We don't get personal. That keeps the discussion thoughtful and the friendships intact. All right, let's try another subject. WHY CAN'T I GET SOMEONE TO BUY MY GLEN CAMPBELL 12-STRING???? It is a beautiful guitar! Very very nice sound. Wonderful 12-string guitar High bidder was $300. Bidder aleady sent email saying that they can't pay. BUMMER! I'll have to

Sometimes it takes a few cycles thru the auction process for the right person to come along. How come you're selling the guitar? I just don't play it anymore. I really do hate to see such a nice guitar just sit. It deserves to be played. Secondly, my wife. Enough said Third, I am considering having a guitar hand made to my spec's by Paragon. It is to me a once-in-a-lifetime deal. Paragon makes beautiful guitars, but since they are just starting out, their prices are very low. When I first found out about Paragons, it would take 6-8 weeks to get a guitar from them. It now takes over 9 months. The word is out about these very nice guitars. Fourth - Our house is small and I don't really have the room. I have guitar cases in the bedroom (4 or 5), in the hallway (6 or 7), and in my computer room. I think I'll appeal to the group here about the 12-string. It is really in very good condition and deserves a home where it will be loved.

Don't know the particulars, but negative feedback would seem to be in order. Unfortunately, I suppose then they can hammer you, which isn't fair. As far as the polarized discussion above.....let's all remember that presidents are MEN, with all the attendant failings. Some very well-remembered men of all political persuasions have still done some not-so-good things. And I'll leave it at that..... Roger
