Location: USA | I am going to return it. Just waiting for my pre-paid return shipping label. Since they were out of this model, I ordered a 1771 Balladeer LX as a replacement. Cost $100.00 more but from what I have read about the LX on this board it seems to be worth it. :D |

Location: USA | Ordered the cherry cherryburst. I guess it's more cherry than a standard cherryburst, so they added an extra cherry. :) |

I first started looking at a Balladeer and was on the fence about getting the LX since it cost more.
I bought the 1771 LX and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. The LX is really the way to go! |

Location: Tampa, Florida | For what its worth, I have had an S778 which I wasn't real impressed with (unplugged), a 1778T that was great (except for the preamp short, sent it back), an Adamas W597 (didn't want it for my only guitar $$$), but my elite LX is awesome! Leaps and bounds above all but the Adamas for a lot less cash (got an FRG, who knows?) and I am really considering another 1778T as my complementary Ovation. Thr new stuff is really great and I think the 1778T was the beginning of the new era at Ovation. |
