It's great to see so many fellow Ovation players. I fell in love with these guitars, when I saw all the rock stars play them in the 80s. I bought the Applause in 91 and finally last summer I got my Legend 1651. My prize possesion, plays better than my Takamine and Seagull. I snatched it for $250, my wife asked me if I needed another guitar? I told her, if I see two of these, I'd buy both of them with this price :) I came close to buying a Country Artist in Nashville a couple of weeks ago, it was a little battered, I hesitated. Next day it was gone. I have now 10 guitars, but I'm still on a lookout for another Ovation, if I find another steal like the last one :) They are the best guitars out there for their price.

We have mixed feelings in that we love the deals for sale, but we want our guitars to be worth a fortune. Our motto should be "buy now, live fast, die young, and leave a beautiful collection of O's". Bailey Uhh, Bailey? I think it's a little late for some of us to die young. Including me :) I think you need to work on a new motto for us.... Hey! How 'bout - "Play it like you stole it!" At the prices we're getting these used USA Ovations for off the bay we practically are stealin' 'em. I still can't believe I got this great old 1612 for $350. /\/\/

One time the RED rocker came to Dallas and got his fovorite guitar stole and he swore it would never be stolen again should he regain ownership, well the police got it back for him, and the next time he came to town he played it like a mad man and said to the audience I am going to be as good as my promise and smashed it into a million peices and set it on fire how sad but understood

No asshole will ever steal that guitar again and I'm sure many with materialistic cupidity hated him for destroying something they could steal even though they never would earn enough to BUY it.
