Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | BCastle, this is all your fault-"Only slightly more talented than Phoebe Buffet". I avoid watching "Friends" on the boob-tube, but unfortunately, my Spousal Unit thinks it is a real hoot. Anyrate, Ms. Buffet mentioned one of her original compositions as, "The Ballad of The Uncircumscized Man". I mean, really. Is this necessary? I would fear my instrument would be rendered permanently out of tune & function if I attempted this type of lyrical merde.
So, the referendum is: What is the most irreverent, and sonically aberrant, musical piece you allow to vibrate through your instrument. (Extra points awarded, if played on a 12-string.) Judging committee to convene in one week. Nominations? |

Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | And, to get things started, I Really enjoy "Sam Stone", by John Prine, in the key of C, especially where it goes from the D-major to D-seventh (gotta bend it a little, too!)
OK, who's next? |

(With your whole "uncircumcised man" reference, I just wanted clarification). |

Location: Dallas, GA, USA | For me it would be Smelly Cat, by the aforementioned Ms. Buffet. However, in my defense, I only played through it because I saw it on www.thetabworld.com and I was left wondering if somebody posted it as a joke, or if they were actually pathetic enough to take the time to tab it out (or chord it out, more correctly). FWIW, it was "correct" if I may use that term in this context.

Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | It's a stretch. There's probably medications that will clear it up, also. |
