Location: Back in the Valley of the Sun Mesa Az. | My old brown HSC for the Legend apparently has been through some sort of heat trauma at some point before I got it. I knew it had some bubbling in the shell, but my repairman pointed out that it is putting undue stress on the face of the guitar as well(suggested leaving the lower buckles undone).
Any Ideas on how to get the shape back to the case? I tried applying direct pressure to the inside of the case pushing out,but this did little to nothing.
Norse(by the way, this must be a record...300 posts without attributing one ounce of useable information...but man, am I having fun  )man1 |

Location: 6 String Ranch | This is tricky but will work (but what Moody says is better)
Take some acetone and a paint brush. slowly wet the area you want redone. The foam will soften. get something (a board, piece of wood etc) to hold it into the new position and clamp it there. It should dry out in a couple of hours.
much easier and better to get a new case. |
