Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | Hello everyone. I was wondering about the different neck shapes Ovation has had over the years. My Custom Balladeer has a rather round shape to it's neck. Where my Adamas neck is smaller feeling to me, and fits my hand nicely. I played a 70s Legend the other day, and the neck had a great feeling V shape to it. Why changes in neck shapes. I am still having trouble getting use to my Custom Balladeers neck. It just feels big to me, and it is very round shaped. I sure like the V shape neck on the Legend.
