I picked up a used, but only weeks old, Custom Legend 12 string this week! My heart is singing, and I can hardly keep from jumping out of my skin with excitement! Heaven's doors opened up and someone smiled down on me!

Of all my O's, this one sings to me like no other. The greatest joy is I finally found that elusive "sound in my head", which after all these years, feels like magic! This particular Ovation guitar was destined for me, and I just had to share the bliss!

Acoustically, this guitar is ballsy, sonically roars, and feels PERFECT. I don't think I've ever experienced that in a guitar. It's got a few minor flaws, but I can live with 'em.

I've always been an O fan, but they're gonna have to pry this one off me when I die.

Johnny

Congrats, John!!

So, . . . . THAT'S why you adamantly bugging to buy one of your guitars!! Glad it worked out!

I played a new, shallow bowl Custom Legend 12 at GC a while ago and it sounded REALLY nice!

It may be a serious contender when I break down and invest in a good 12-string.

Congrats again!

Amidst the bliss, I can't recall the electronics...OP 50 I think...it's got the "new" style electronics.

The body is mid-depth. The model is 6759.

Yes, Cliff! I had to scamble to get cash for this. I played it a few weeks ago, and this past Saturday happened to be by the GC in Paramus again. The magnetic force lurched my car into the lot, despite the opposite polarity of my girl's screams from the passenger seat. Needless to say, I put a deposit on the guitar. Needed the balance to pick it up. Got it for $500 off new cost, including a gorgeous case. Like I said, it's only weeks old. Somebody bought it new, then returned it 2 weeks later because they didn't like 12 strings after all. My blessing.

The planets aligned or something. My girl even calmed once in the store. THAT was a miracle!

What's S.E.G.?

Great story. Because it makes me smile... This will answer any "hard" questions as to why...? People just don't smile enough. Thanks for letting us smile with you.

12 string program

Just been destroyed

No hope for recovery

my kingdom for a 12 string

sorry wife of 45 years I've mortgaged the house

it (my 12 string) will arrive and we must leave

go to your children and beg food

so much for a 12 string program
