Location: Texas | I have seen so many posts asking the value of their Ovation. In my opinion, the value of your guitar is what you are willing to part with it for not necessarily what someone is willing to give you.
I have a 1975 model 1112-4 and you can pry it from my cold dead fingers.
I have a 33 year old Italian/Texan wife, gorgeous, 120lbs, belly button ring, and likes sex. She has a good tone and no unnecessary buzz. Does anyone have any idea what she's worth. I've looked on ebay but can't find anything comparable.
Did I mention that my 1112 was easy to finger?

That's dangerous territory, remember you don't have to be a member to browse the board. A visit here from your beautiful wife could get you good or bad results. Remember they always feel like we love our guitars better, sorta like the Smothers Brothers "Mother always liked you best". It's an area where we must tread lightly or we may find ourselves, as I do, playing way into the night because there is none of that stuff we like better available because we failed to show proper respect. The warning sign is if she suddenly stands upright and slaps the computer keyboard like Jerry Lee doing "Great Balls of Fire". Prepare to apologize abjectly and crawl or run for your life, the choice is yours!

Location: 6 String Ranch | I remember fishing one time in the Farmington river behind this old factory in New Hartford and we caught a whole bunch of balladeers. Don't remember the serial numbers since we were doing catch and release. |
