I'm looking for a truss rod cover for my Magnum II bass. Anybody out there got an extra? You can email me at: puppetlove@cfaith.com if you don't want to post a reply.

Is it the same TRC as on acoustic headstocks?

It seems to be the same as the solidbody guitars, but I don't have any pre-80s acoustics to check them against.

There are probably some pick guard makers that have the template for a viper or preacher all ready to go if nobody here can help

Yeah I think you're right about all the solid bodies. I'm traveling now, so when I get home I'll check it against my '73 Custom Balladeer.

I've got one. I just don't know if it fits. (I had three, but moved the other two last week.)

I'm glad others don't know. I was afraid I was asking a stupid question.

Patch after I check and if it's the same size I'll post here so we can strike a deal.

Hey Patch, I'd like to go ahead and get the TRC. Even if it doesn't fit the Magnum it's always good to have a spare. You can email me puppetlove@cfaith.com to arrange payment.
