Hi guys (and gals). Just wanted to say hello as a newbie. Been reading the posts for years but finally decided to jump in. I've been playing Ovations for over 25 years.
The hurricane passed us by. So,going to the Guitar Show in Charlotte, NC tomorrow. They say it's still on.

Hi Puppetman and welcome,
I went to the Charlotte show today, even saw a few Ovations there. There's a nice, almost mint, mid 70's sunburst 1112 balladeer there with case for $275 (first price). Mid-way down on the left wall if your interested. Sorta wish I had picked it up.

Went to the show. A little disappointing as far as Ovations. I did buy the Balladeer you talked about. Beautiful condition and beautiful tone. It had a hardshell case, but not Original Ovation case. It had a scrape on the very top edge of the peghead. Other than that, mint.
