The first thing that hit me was the BIG LOW END. Then I started wondering if there may be a lack of highs. I was able to compare it side by side to my buddy's Elite, and my old Legend. After playing it awhile, I concluded that it was the most balanced tone across all frequencies that I've ever heard out of an acoustic guitar. Every note up and down the board just sprang out of the guitar. I want one for Christmas BAD!!!

Even when hard times hit, they all try to hang on to at least one Adamas, even though selling it is the fastest way to raise cash in a hurry. I played an Adamas I, once, in about 1985 and could never get rid of the desire.

Kevin the owner of the store told me he knew the guitar was mine because I never played anything else. Best guitar I have ever owned. Pauly

I absolutely love(d) all of them. Hey tragocaster, for $1500 and shipping you can have my like new 2080. I think Al has one too (or did). Fantastic guitars.

I might have someone interested in one of them thar 2080s As for me, I may have to work with Al on my next big purchase. I need me a longneck Adamas once I dig out of this year's financial down turn. A 2080D would be perfect.

Yeah, I think I permanently damaged Brad's hearing at the courtyard Jam at Amelia in March with the 1688-5...Playing above and behind it, I forgot how loud it was...
