Location: Flushing, MI | A buddy of mine just picked it up used for $1500. I just put it down about a half hour ago. I don't remember the model #, but it is a KILLER!
The first thing that hit me was the BIG LOW END. Then I started wondering if there may be a lack of highs. I was able to compare it side by side to my buddy's Elite, and my old Legend. After playing it awhile, I concluded that it was the most balanced tone across all frequencies that I've ever heard out of an acoustic guitar. Every note up and down the board just sprang out of the guitar.
I want one for Christmas BAD!!! |

Location: Sydney, Australia | I learned about the carbon fibre from personal experience and watching people here. Even when hard times hit, they all try to hang on to at least one Adamas, even though selling it is the fastest way to raise cash in a hurry.
I played an Adamas I, once, in about 1985 and could never get rid of the desire. |

Location: Vermont USA | When I played the W597 at a store every time I went back I played it and played it, until finally I lifted enough purses to buy it. Kevin the owner of the store told me he knew the guitar was mine because I never played anything else. Best guitar I have ever owned.

If nothing else, the durn thing was LOUD! While my buddy was playing rhythm on it, you couldn't hear my single note solos. At one point I told my buddy to take one, and I then proceeded to try and drown him out playing rhythm! Take THAT! |

Location: East Wenatchee, WA | I went from the W597 which totally blew me away, to the 2080 (which is still for sale now that I am getting the ebay dispute squared away) and now the 2008C. I absolutely love(d) all of them.
Hey tragocaster, for $1500 and shipping you can have my like new 2080. I think Al has one too (or did). Fantastic guitars. |

As for me, I may have to work with Al on my next big purchase. I need me a longneck Adamas once I dig out of this year's financial down turn.
A 2080D would be perfect. |
