My 16-yr-old Ovation Elite still gets lots of playing time in the summer. This guitar has aged really well. Still feels like home whenever I pick it up and play. Leaned my first finger picking song on this Elite.

Thanks! I think we were playing an extended country-blues-ized version of Tim Hardin's "If I Were A Carpenter". I recorded part of that show, you can download a couple tunes (free of charge) from my website , and that tune is one of them.

I love jamming wiht that harmonica player. He really knows his stuff.

Later,
David

Beautiful playing David, thanks for the link to your website, as I like to collect OFC'ers sites in my favorites.

My thanks too, David. I downloaded and listened to your "Carpenter" and that is some great playing. I hope to play that well one day. Keep it up -- I'll swing by CDBaby and pick up your CD.

I enjoyed it. Thanks. Somebody listening to that might wonder how they got the guitar to sound so clear. We know, don't we?

Good to see another 1768. I thought I was alone. They sound and feel soooo nice, eh?

Is yours the deep bowl?

Yes mine is also deep bowl. It was my first good guitar and my only one for 10 years. I call it "Old Reliable."

Tony: Yeah, I know it was Tim Hardin, I just got confused. Happens frequently to me. ;)
