Tough to carry guitars on bikes or in Porsches. We haven't done the San Juan/Victoria trip in a few years. Last time we did, we strapped a couple bikes (the kind you peddle) on the 911 and had a great time. Windy roads are the best kind.

I have a pick-up that could serve as the sag wagon. :) Would have to figure out how to keep the cases shaded but shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Ok, Greg, you got me on that one. Sag wagon?

See? Now it sound like the kind of group that should assemble at MusicFest!

If I can round up enough tents...what say?
.............................................
Seeing as it took about a year to put this one together, and music fest is July 6-8,2007 ...if it's a go we'd better start planning! (just cruising through the list of past performers and noticed Kaki King has played musicfest. Sorry I missed her!)

A sag wagon is a term from my bycycle touring days. It carried all the gear, supplies, extra parts, food, etc while the bike group was on the road. So, i could pack the truck with everyone's gear, space permitting, and you folks could ride as i trailed you up the road.

I have a number of tents myself, three to be exact.

Hey, 'Bugs'...I don't frequently stand IN the road, but for you I might make an exception...

I'd be glad for an opportunity to have a get-together in the Puget Sound side of things, even if it's just a few of us - maybe after the Puyallup fair gets done (obviously it has to start first) and I can think again.

July 6-8, 2007, I may still be in San Diego or returning therefrom. I figured if I had a couple days after July 4, I might just bother the guys down there. I wouldn't have to bring any guitars because they have too many.

Oh, ok. I've seen those following groups of Harley riders. Along with flatbed trailers in case it rained.

Andrew, it won't happen this year. Every weekend in Sept is already full including the week we're going on vacation (road trip, but the other direction), and October's going fast.
It would be fun next spring, though!

Yeah it would! Actually, from January through March, I have literally like nothing to do, so just about any time during those months I can get away for a day or two. Would be a good time to get out of the house too, in the winter/spring times.

I live in Port Angeles, just across the Strait of Juan de Fuca from Victoria. That's where you catch the ferry, if anybody needs a place to rest before heading to the Island.
