Lots of prayers going up for you here, too.
I've had a recent brush with the big "C" myself (colon cancer) and nothing rocks your world like hearing that word applied to you or a loved one. But, let me add to what others have already said (and I know you know), God IS good and He is faithful, and He WILL bring you through this. It sounds like it was detected early... Praise God for that!
When my cancer was discovered it was a stage three, meaning that if it had gone undetected much longer, I probably wouldn't be here posting about it now. It always reminds me that when it comes to answered prayers, or even just regarding His daily watchcare, God may not show up early, but He's NEVER late. Hang in there, brother, God's not through with you yet!
If you ever want some encouragement from someone who's "been there," don't hesitate to contact me.

I can only repeat what the others have already said, and as a recreational Cyclist in the past I was always a participant in many a bike rally designed to aid Cancer treatment and research. I was always amazed at the survivors, Hundreds.(Riders wore tags on their jerseys, survivor, etc.)truly inspirational. One of my co-workers last year was diagnosed with bone cancer he is in full remission and has been for the past 6 months. Todays approach is much more aggressive and information is available.
